Our Mission

The BETHS Parents’ Associations mission is “To bring together parents, teachers and scholars by raising funds to make the school a better place to learn, whilst strengthening the school community.”

We achieve this by supporting the Community, Causes and Care. You can find more details at http://playbook.bethspa.co.uk

Our Priorities and Objectives

Community:

Our priority is to “Establish and build communications between BETHS parents, teachers and scholars that drive community learning and interactions”. We do this by building the parent community using Classlist. As a parent for a Beths Scholar, you should join Classlist by going to http://join.bethspa.co.uk or by downloading the Android or iOS app and find Beths Grammar School and assign your scholar to the Year and Class for the year and meet your new community. This community will allow you to connect and message parents in your class, your scholar's year group and the school. We aim to connect you to others, help you understand scholars near you for organising car shares, buy and sell school items, and understand all the events and activities in the school. If you have a question or a concern, I promise there will be a likeminded parent that has the same question and another parent that can help answer your question for you.

Causes:

Our second priority is to “Understand parents, teachers and children’s unmet needs and  unarticulated wants that will lead to a world class education”. In partnership with the school, we identify and prioritize projects aimed at providing the best possible learning and social experiences for our scholars. Recent highlights include a basketball scoreboard, 1st XV rugby shirts, and 3D printers, Visualizers and many many more. For a more comprehensive look at these initiatives, please visit Classlist.

Care:

Our third priority is to “Drive fundraising within the community to provide resources required that lead to enriched learning and social experiences“. We look to support and organise events for fundraising for which help us achieve the causes that enrich your scholars and the school.

Each year we need help and support to achieve more for your scholar. Please join the community and consider what you can bring to support our causes and drive care.
