On Wednesday 19 September, students in Year 11 went to see the spine chilling The Woman in Black at the Fortune Theatre.  Although there are only two actors in the show it was enough to see the Year 11s jumping in their seats and hiding behind their coats.  The students were gripped from the comedic opening luring them into a false sense of security, before hearing piercing screams and seeing a white ghostly face several times during the show.  Many of them suffered a sleepless night but thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to attend such a small spooky theatre space.  It should also be noted that Mr Hayman did not flinch once but enjoyed laughing at the students crying out in fear.
