Sixth Form Transfer 2017 Internal Students

Information for current Year 11 Beths Students (Internal students)


Transfer to the Sixth Form is based upon your ability to achieve our School Entry Requirements, which are:

+ at least 7 GCSEs at grade A*- B, with the new GCSE grade 6 = B
+ at least grade 5/C in both Mathematics and English Language at GCSE
+ individual subject requirements as detailed in the Sixth Form Choices Booklet

For students who have completed a full AS in any subject by the end of Year 11: - for entry requirement purposes only, we will count grade D (in any subject) as equivalent to one B/6 grade at GCSE and grade C or higher as grade A/7 at GCSE.

Before selecting your A level options, refer to the Sixth form Options booklet to ensure that you have a good understanding of what the course involves, that the type of study suits your particular learning style and that you are predicted to meet the specific entry requirements. Note that for some subjects, students are required to meet more than one entry grade.

The minimum course of study in Year 12 is four A Levels.

The closing date for submission of your Transfer Request is 4pm on Wednesday 22nd February 2017.
Applications will only be acknowledged by email – a valid email address will therefore be required. You will also need to confirm your application using the link provided on the email you receive, which will also explain the application process.

After submitting your application you will receive an email verification from sixthform@beths.bexley.sch.uk. If you don't receive this email, please make sure that your email provider has not marked our address as SPAM before you contact Mrs Hubert.

You must verify your email address using the LINK provided in the email you receive from us. Failure to do this could result in your application not being successfully processed.

The deadline for Internal Transfer forms is 4pm on Wednesday 22nd February 2017.

We recommend our Y11 students discuss their options with Subject Staff at Y11 Parents evening on Tuesday 21th February 2017 before Submitting their form.
