'I just wanted to say that I came to see Oliver on Friday night and thought it was fantastic! I couldn’t believe how confident and talented the cast were, especially those that I teach.'

'An excellent performance by all concerned from all the actors, orchestra, lighting crew, back-stage staff, etc, especially the two lead performers playing the parts of Oliver and Nancy.'

Oliver!  Production update

Our Art Department have been working on the set for the upcoming drama production.  The polystyrene sheets were carved to make them look like bricks and then hand painted.  One full sheet has been completed…many more to go!

Over two days in September we had around 50 students audition for a role in Oliver! Some students were asked for call backs as the decisions were not easy ones to make. After lots of discussion and watching audition clips back we have found our lead and filled all other roles for the play. Students can still get involved in the production through the Art and D&T departments as well as with costume, hair and make-up.

Rehearsals will start with a full cast read through on Monday  8th and Tuesday 9th October in P3 at 3:30pm. After the read through, the process of rehearsals will continue up until the first show in March!

We hope to keep you up to date with rehearsals in the build up to the show and look forward to seeing you in the audience during show week.
